Badminton champion and Olympic medallist, Gail has put her baking skills on display and swapped her racquet and shuttlecock for oven gloves and aprons for a charity photoshoot!

She joins several well-loved British sports stars in promoting a designer apron to back this year’s Sport Relief campaign.

Designed by leading contemporary designer Orla Kiely, the apron – also modelled by the likes of Graham Bell, Judy Murray, Ben Cohen and Amir Khan – is being presented each night to the winner of the popular BBC show ‘The Great Sport Relief Bake Off’.

The apron is available to buy exclusively from Sport Relief official partners: Brands For Less, HomeSense, TK Maxx stores and online at tkmaxx.com and sportrelief.com at the price of £12.99, with at least £5.25 going to Sport Relief.

Gail said: “Please shop till you drop and purchase these fabulous Sport Relief aprons from HomeSense and TK Maxx stores. Created by top designer Orla Kiely, the aprons will raise cash that will help people living incredibly tough lives, here at home in the UK and across the world’s poorest communities. Together let's make this the best Sport Relief yet!”

Sport Relief 2016 will take place from 18th-20th March, bringing the entire nation together to get active, raise cash and change lives. The money raised from the event will help people living incredibly tough lives.

Half of the money raised by the public for Sport Relief is used to make a difference right here at home in the UK, while the other half is used to transform lives across the world’s poorest communities.
