Gail Emms MBE has always been regarded as one of the nation’s great sportswomen and is set to appear on a new Sky Sports programme which focuses on women’s sport, and featuring news, views and analysis, as well as exclusive interviews.

‘Sportswomen’, hosted by Hayley McQueen, celebrates the wealth of talent in women’s sport across a range of different disciplines.

This week’s episode will investigate whether women are fairly represented within sport, contacting numerous national sporting bodies to get a range of facts and opinions.     

The show will also feature the former executive chair of British Rowing, Dame Diana Ellis and as well as a host of women from the very top of sport. They will also look ahead to December’s Sportswomen of the Year awards.
